Audrey went on a field trip with daycare on Tuesday. They go all out for birthdays, especially when the kids turn 5, because it's their last birthday before kindergarten. Two kids turned 5 this week (twins), and so they packed the van with carseats and boosters, and off to Build-A-Bear (at Downtown Disney) they went!

Can you spot Audrey hugging Sophie?
I really don't know how they do it, taking 10 small children out in public, but Celia, Aimee and Kenya are great at what they do and earn bragging rights and compliments from the public for their well-behaved kids. They even ate lunch at Rainforest Cafe and received compliments from the waitress. It's hard enough keeping one child happy, but to keep 10 children happy, fed, and entertained? Wow.

Audrey is slightly tomboyish in that she doesn't like dolls, and rarely plays with stuffed animals. The only one she's every even remotely attached herself was
this kitty from Ikea. So when she came home from her field trip with Dragon the Saur Saur, I thought it would be another dust collector for the shelf. However, she and Dragon have been inseparable! It also looks like she enjoyed "building" him. Or her. She insists Dragon is a girl. And a dragon. Though I've been told Dragon's first name was "Saur Saur" since it's actually a dinosaur (don't tell Audrey, because she'll angrily inform you otherwise).

Like my daughter, Dragon has a lot of heart- literally. You're apparently supposed to but 1-2 hearts into the animal, and she put in 6-7. She also chose Dragon's bows.

It looks like Dragon is taking a bite out of her, but she actually has him/her very well trained. In fact, he ate Cheerios and drank milk in the carseat on the way to daycare today, and hardly spilled at all. It was Audrey who made the mess.

Brody, Sophie, Audrey and Cruz... for my family who hears about Audrey's friends, now you have a face to go along with her stories!
