Discovery Science Center

Audrey is way too young for the Discovery Science Center, but there is an exhibit about the body, and who better to teach children than the Sesame Street Gang? We got to learn to dance and keep our bodies in motion with Grover...

We got to sit on the step of a replica of 123 Sesame Street!

The real one:
Of course, we met our good friend, Elmo again. Long time, no see! We last met Elmo at Sea World in March. She went right up to him and gave him 5. She also hugged his leg and kissed his nose. She was not afraid of him like the other little kids, and we had to drag her away! While Elmo is not her favorite character, she definitely enjoys seeing him.
Speaking of Elmo, there was also a life size set of Elmo's World where she got to dress Elmo for the weather using magnetic clothes. She cared more about Dorothy (the fish) and the video playing in the room.
We did walk around the permanent display, but she's still too young to enjoy it. This pin wall was kind of neat. She and John pressed their hands and faces into it! We saw the bubble show, but she was freaked out by the darkness and loud music.
I LOVED Sesame Street when I was young, and I'm glad she's sharing my passion!
