This month we celebrated Maliya's 5th birthday! Where does the time go? She was born shortly after John and I started dating, and now she'll be starting kindergarten. Maliya took a break from her party to say hi to her little cousin. I think their heads are the same size. Hopefully, Audrey will grow into hers. Big head, big brain, right?

These baby Etnies were a gift from our neighbors, Riley and Mochi. Do you see the owls?
My brother Jordan came to visit this weekend for Audrey's baptism. She was at ease in his arms, and proved to be the most beautiful baby girl he's ever seen. She played and smiled and enjoyed her first weekend with Uncle Jordan.

This weekend, we celebrated Audrey's baptism. She was a very good girl and didn't cry or fuss one time! She played with my bracelet throughout most of it (good last minute purchase). Father Patrick anointed her with oil on her chest and on her head, and she played with his sleeve and watched what he was doing. When he poured water over her head, it was like her bath, and she just reached for the front of my dress to hold onto (she usually grips my shirt when she's on her back in the bath). Now, she is "free from original sin" (as it was stated during the ceremony)!
Audrey is lucky to have our siblings as godparents. We know they will love her and support her as she grows as a Christian. Paige and Naz couldn't make it to California for the baptism, but here are Ninong Jordan, Ninong Joe, and Ninang Princess (plus Ate Maliya, of course). Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us. We are very lucky to have you in our daughter's life!
Audrey had just taken her bath (hence the nudity) and got out in a good mood. I called for John to bring the camera for this one...
