I think it's time to say a tearful goodbye to breastfeeding forever. Or at least until the next (knock on wood) child. Pumping is fruitless.
Why am I so emotional and heartbroken over it? It's way more convenient to keep her on formula. I can eat dairy now. I can drink alcohol. I can work during lunches or eat with my friends and not hide in my classroom pumping. It just bothers me that I can no longer provide for her. I know there's more to motherhood than just breastfeeding, but it still hurts, no matter what anyone says.

you are still providing for her :)
i know it's a bummer, but the good news is that she is healthy and happy...
soon, she will be lunching on cereal and baby food, and THAT will bring you the same joy as nursing!
