September has been an extremely busy month.  It's hard getting back into the swing of things when you've been on vacation for 3 months.  It was hard leaving Audrey again, waking up at 5:30, getting 33 new fifth graders adjusted to being back in school, and losing my abundance of free time.  John caught a cold, Audrey caught his cold, and then I caught it 2 weeks later.  I'm hoping that October finds us healthy and a little calmer.  In the meantime, here are a few pictures, or highlights of Audrey's month...

Audrey has transitioned from highchair to booster!  It wasn't hard... she just refused to get into her chair, climb into it and climb out, or just stand up during dinner, making it a safety hazard.  We decided it was time.  Or rather, SHE decided it was time.  She also uses the booster in restaurants.  Her ban on highchairs goes for all of them.

She's also adjusted to daycare!  Audrey plays with Lola and Lolo on Mondays and Tuesdays, and plays with her friends on Wednesdays, Thursday and Fridays.  She has tons of friends, and her language is blossoming.  Her table manners, on the other hand... they need some work.

This isn't really her smile.  This is her showing you her teeth.  She's become quite the artist, and has a love of stickers.

Last weekend, Audrey's BFF Sophie came over so her parents could go to a wedding.  It was fun for all.  They ate together, bathed together, played together, and chattered at each other all night.  You could say that Sophie is Audrey's oldest friend since they've pretty much been friends since birth!

Audrey got a card from Grandma this week.  Dora was dressed up for Halloween in kitty ears, and Audrey studied her card very carefully.  :)
